- Red chilli - 2
- Tomato -3
- Brinjal - 2
- Potato - 1/2 of medium size potato
- coriander leaves
- Mustard seeds
- Curry leaves.
Oil + Onion + Red Chilli + Tomato + Brinjal + Potato + Coriander leaves (lil) --> Saute till all of the listed ingredients gets well cooked. Once it is cooked, switch off the flame and allow it to cool. Grind this juz for 2 secs. It "should not" become like paste. Coarsely grind it and keep it aside.
In a pan, add oil + mustard seeds + curry leaves --> Once the mustard seeds splutter, add the coarsely grinded chutney. Finally add a pinch of hing and salt. Also add water if req. This chutney goes well with idlis and dosas.
